Address Book Menu Plug-in: Google Maps

I just wrote two Address Book Plug-ins. The first will open a given address in your favorite browser in Google Maps.

The other plugin will give the directions from one of your adresses to the chosen address.

To use these plug-ins, click on either of the links to open the script in Script Editor (Mac OS X 10.3 Panther required). Then save the script in ~/Library/Address Book Plug-Ins or /Library/Address Book Plug-Ins.

Then in Address Book you can click on the label next to Address and select the new Google option.

The Directions script has property called defaultStartAddressLabel which is set to "home". If you would rather get the directions starting from work then change it to "work" or what ever your label is called. Setting this attribute to "" will give you a prompt asking for the label.
